Online Services

To request access to online services you MUST come into the practice with photographic identification and complete a request/consent form.  To add extra items (eg detailed coded records access) you MUST come into the practice with photographic identification and complete a request/consent form.  Proxy access to children's records is only available until the child's 11th birthday; access is then revoked and the child must apply for their own access if required.  Please do not request access via the online system; your request will not be actioned and you will receive no response.  Thank you.

Have Your Say

Closed afternoons

Please note we are closed for Doctor and Staff training on the 3rd Tuesday afternoon of each month.  If you telephone the Practice during that time your call will be automatically transferred to those providing care for that afternoon.

Welcome to Minster Medical PracticeMMPautodoors

The doctors and staff at Minster Medical Practice are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare to our 10,700 patients.  We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma, heart disease and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on this website.

Our Surgery is situated off Nettleham Road in the Cabourne Court Health Care Complex. This site has ample car parking and pedestrian access from both Nettleham Road and Cabourne Avenue. Other services on the site include a Chemist, Dental Practice, Physiotherapy clinic, Chiropractitioner, Chiropodist and Hearing Care Aid Centre.

We have been a training Practice since 1994. Dr Fitzgerald is the approved trainer. GP Registrars join us for four or twelve month attachments. They are fully qualified Doctors, but have not yet completed the specialised training now required before they can become a fully-qualified General Practitioner.

Because we undertake training of other Doctors wishing to enter General Practice we undergo a periodic assessment when the quality of the records in the Practice may be examined by senior Doctors.  Patient confidentiality is always maintained.  However, if you do not want your notes to be examined please inform the Receptionist or your Doctor.
