Practice Manager

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.

The Practice Manager supports the Doctors and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop services to enhance patient care.  If you have any problems with regard to the running of the Practice, or any suggestions on how you feel this may be improved, she will be pleased to discuss this with you and pass on any comments to the Doctors. 

Mrs Lisa Hansford

Deputy Practice Manager

Supports the Practice Manager with the day-to- day running of the surgery and deputises when the Practice Manager is unavailable.


Clinical Administrators - Joseph, Harley and Ellie

Responsible for workflow optimisation, summarising and clinical coding.

Secretaries - Tracey and Sally

In addition to providing secretarial support to the Practice, our secretaries also arrange hospital referral appointments and liaise between hospital consultants and your doctors.


Reception Supervisor:


The reception supervisor is responsible for overseeing the reception service and providing support to patients.  She will be happy to listen to your queries, concerns and will help to resolve any complaints.

Reception Team: Maralyn (Senior Receptionist), Jo, Elaine, Sharon, Mandy, Joy and Vinnie (Apprentice)

Our receptionists are your first contact with the Practice.  It is their job to advise and guide you and any information they receive is treated in the strictest confidence.  If you are willing to provide them with details of your enquiry, they will then be able to assist you in the use of our range of services.




Our staff are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the Doctors and Nurses.  They have a difficult job to do, especially in dealing with large numbers of patients who visit and telephone the surgery each day.  They have to try to keep both the Doctors and yourselves happy and in order to do so, may have to ask what appear to be unnecessary questions. Please remember that they are only doing what they are asked to do by the Doctors and, by providing the information they need, you are helping them to help you.



Access to Medical Records

Access to medical records can be arranged within the scope of the relevant laws - details from the Practice Manager.  The request for copies of medical records needs to be in writing and charges may be made for the provision of this facility.
