Welcome to Minster Medical Practice

To limit the spread of Coronavirus all requests for a GP appointment will be triaged by a GP until further notice.

Even if you feel well please do not come to the practice to book an appointment, instead contact us by telephone to limit the risk to you, other patients and our staff.

When calling please give the receptionist as much information as possible and a GP will call you back. The receptionists are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as our clinical staff and are only asking for this information to help the doctors and to ensure you are called back as soon as necessary.

The latest government guidance is for anyone showing symptoms to self-isolate for 14 days together with those living in the same household or 7 days if you live alone. If you are unable to manage your symptoms do not come into the practice. You should visit www.111.nhs.uk/covid-19 or if necessary call 111.

Please put your prescription request into one of our letterboxes which can be accessed from outside the practice. If you usually collect your prescription from the practice please write on the request which pharmacy you would like it sending to instead. This will reduce the amount of footfall through the practice which keeps you and our staff safe and saves you time.

Thank you for your support at this challenging time. We appreciate the difficulties that this causes but need to continue to keep our doctors available for the sickest people in our community and this will only happen with your help.
